Your mission
We are looking for an experienced, hands-on HR Business Partner South West Europe (w/m/d) to lead the People agenda across Spain, Italy, France, Belgium and Portugal.As the primary People partner for regional managers and leaders, you combine strategic business partnering with pragmatic operational support.
Working with central People teams and local stakeholders, you align business needs, Group standards and local requirements.
Your responsibilities
HR Business Partnering & Organisational Development
- Translate business priorities into people initiatives and advise leaders on organisation, workforce planning and change.
- Coach managers on leadership, performance and people management.
- Identify people risks, capability gaps and development needs, and contribute to the European People strategy.
Employee Relations, Labour Law & Compliance
- Advise managers on employee relations, performance, disciplinary and termination matters across Spain, Italy, France, Belgium and Portugal.
- Manage complex cases and ensure consistent, compliant application of local employment law and Group policies.
- Monitor legal developments, support audits and coordinate local legal or HR experts where required.
Talent, Compensation & Recruitment
- Drive performance, talent, succession and retention initiatives with regional managers.
- Support grading and compensation processes and provide regional market input.
- Partner on workforce planning and recruitment priorities, advising hiring managers on local requirements and sustainable hiring decisions.
Operational HR
Provide hands-on support where regional knowledge and judgement are required.Key activities:
- Coordinate onboarding, employee lifecycle, offboarding, contracts and HR documentation.
- Support payroll and benefits processes with central HR Operations and local providers.
- Resolve complex operational HR questions and ensure reliable regional processes.
Your profile
- Extensive experience as an HR Business Partner, HR Manager or in a comparable international HR role.
- Strong employee relations, employment-law, compliance and HR generalist expertise.
- Business-oriented, confident in advising managers and experienced in change, performance and workforce planning.
- Pragmatic, hands-on and able to balance strategic and operational priorities.
- Fluent in English - Spanish, Italian, French, Dutch or Portuguese is an advantage.
